Children Stories in Levantine Dialect
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!
We were the first to publish children’s stories in Levantine Arabic! Back in 2017, when I first released these stories, I wasn’t sure if there would be much interest in Levantine Arabic tales. To my surprise, they were in great demand!
This year, I created new stories and collaborated with an incredible illustrator from Palestine. These beautiful stories are now ready to ship and celebrate our rich culture with heartfelt adventures featuring Teta and Jido. Join Mimi on her journey with Jido to the foron to bake mana’eesh, a journey across Lebanon with Jido, and as she bakes ma’amoul for Eid with Teta.
In addition, my earlier stories have received a complete makeover, breathing fresh life into these beloved tales while continuing to share our traditions with young readers.
Each story draws us closer to home and to our Levantine roots—memories you, as parents, may have lived and now want to pass on to your children. When I started, I realized illustrations weren’t my strongest suit, so I focused on the writing and found a gifted illustrator from Palestine to bring these stories to life. Her artwork perfectly complements the cultural depth of the stories, and I’m thrilled with how they’ve turned out.
These new stories are high-quality, hardcover editions designed to stand the test of time. I can’t wait for you to enjoy them with your families.
