Objective

To introduce children to the Arabic language and culture through a fun, Montessori-inspired curriculum that nurtures curiosity, independence, and collaboration. Our goal is to build a foundation in Arabic vocabulary, foster conversational skills, and spark a lifelong connection to their heritage.

  • Simple Nouns and Verbs: Practice using foundational vocabulary in practical ways.
  • Role-Play Conversations: Guided activities to encourage real-life Arabic dialogue.
  • Introduction to Letters: Explore the Arabic alphabet through hands-on activities and visuals.
  • Montessori Approach: Focused on child-led exploration with interactive and tactile learning tools to enhance retention and understanding.

  • Tala: With a master’s degree in education and over 15 years of teaching experience, Tala leads all of Nasma’s Arabic afterschool programs across the city. She has been with Nasma for the past 10 years, bringing expertise and passion to her role.

  • Maria: A native speaker and a talented educator, Maria has been a cherished part of Nasma for 7 years. With a master’s degree in acting and theater, Maria brings creativity and energy to every class, making learning both fun and impactful.
