Introducing the Levantine Arabic Fluency Mastermind
We’re excited to share a groundbreaking initiative brought to you by two passionate educators who specialize in Levantine Arabic!
Meet Caroline, CEO of Nasma of NY
Marhaba, my name is Caroline Haidar.
I hold a degree in Communication Arts with a minor in Education, and I’m a certified Positive Psychology Coach. Before founding my business over 10 years ago, I worked as a TV reporter in Lebanon—an experience that deepened my love for storytelling and cultural connection.
For the past decade, I’ve been teaching Levantine Arabic and have proudly published a series of adult textbooks and four children’s stories that bring our dialect and culture to life. I’m deeply passionate about preserving and celebrating Arab identity, especially through language and community.
As a mother of two girls growing up in the U.S., I know first-hand how challenging it can be to raise proud, bilingual Arab children in a multicultural environment. That’s exactly why I created this Confidence & Identity Workshop—to support parents like you, and to help our kids grow up feeling empowered, connected, and proud of their heritage. Confidence & Identity Workshop for Ages 4–12 in NYC
About
In today’s fast-paced world, helping young Arab girls feel proud of their heritage and confident in who they are is more important than ever. That’s why we’ve created the first and only Confidence & Identity Workshop for Arab girls in New York City, ages 4 to 12. This heart-centered program is more than just an activity—it’s a movement designed to nurture self-esteem, cultural pride, and emotional strength, all in a joyful, empowering space.
Too often, Arab children growing up in the diaspora face identity confusion or feel the need to hide parts of themselves to fit in. Our workshop provides a safe and supportive environment where girls can connect with their roots, celebrate their culture, and develop a strong sense of self-worth.
As an educator and founder who has worked with hundreds of Arab families over the years, one consistent concern from parents has been this:
“My daughter understands Arabic, even speaks it fluently—but refuses to speak it with me at home.”
And yet, when those same children joined our weekly Arabic classes, a beautiful transformation occurred. They were excited to speak Arabic—enthusiastic, even—doing their best to communicate in the language every chance they got.
That made me pause and ask: Why?
The answer became clear: the presence of a supportive community.
When children are surrounded by peers who look and sound like them, who share their background and stories, something shifts. They feel safe, seen, and proud. In that environment, Arabic becomes more than a “heritage language”—it becomes a bridge to belonging.
This realization inspired the creation of the first-of-its-kind Confidence & Identity Workshop in NYC—designed not just to teach—but to uplift, empower, and connect.

A culturally rooted space where bilingualism is celebrated.
This is the first and only program of its kind dedicated to helping Arab girls in NYC grow into confident, emotionally aware, and culturally proud individuals. Helping children feel proud of their heritage builds confidence, emotional strength, and a strong sense of self. When kids embrace where they come from, they’re more likely to express themselves openly, connect with their culture, and see bilingualism as a strength. In a world where many navigate multiple identities, pride in one’s roots becomes a powerful tool for resilience and belonging.
Why Join Confidence & Identity Workshop for Arab Girls in NYC?
Because we understand what it means to raise confident Arab girls in a world that doesn’t always reflect their stories. Our workshop is the first of its kind, blending emotional wellness with cultural pride to help young girls build true self-esteem while staying rooted in their Arab identity. With a certified positive psychology coach, an experienced educator, and licensed therapist leading the way, we create a safe, joyful, and empowering space where girls feel proud of who they are and where they come from. We’re here to support parents in raising strong, bilingual girls who know their worth and embrace their roots. Fill out the form here to be notified of the start date.
