Intensive Intermediate Classes (WET)
Course Description:
Our Intermediate Levantine Arabic classes focus on the past, simple present, present continuous, and future tenses. You will learn how to read the time, name family members, give directions, discuss jobs, and much more. Each week, we cover a theme and practice through communicative activities. Group activities, role-play, debates, listening exercises, and relaxed conversation make this course an excellent way to improve your conversational skills.

This course follows the ’20/20 Fast Tracking Method’. Which consists of 20 group sessions & 20 private sessions. Read more about this method here.
Prerequisites:
Our Beginner conversation class is a prerequisite. You can also enroll in this course if you are comfortable conjugating in the present, future, and present continuous tenses. The goal of this course is to focus on practicing Arabic speaking with interactive role-plays and consolidate vocabulary for a wide range of topics.
If you feel you’re not quite up to speed, consider signing up for our Levantine Arabic Masterclass. This course is designed to help complete beginners and uses instructional videos, so there is less pressure to be conversationally fluent.
You don’t need to know how to read Arabic to join any of our Arabic conversation classes.

Details:
The course is 10 weeks long. The class hosts 6 students max, and the duration of the class is 60 minutes taking place twice a week. You will get access to a Whatsapp group where you can ask and get answers to questions you may have. Material and vocabulary will be provided prior to the course. The course consists of two parts: Group & Private.
Group Sessions:
– Small Groups: Each group consists of no more than six students, ensuring that everyone gets ample speaking time.
– Twice a Week: Classes meet twice a week, providing regular practice and keeping the momentum going.
– Thematic Lessons: Each week focuses on a specific theme. The instructor explains the lesson for about 15 minutes, followed by interactive exercises, role-plays, translation practice, and open Q&A sessions.
Private Sessions:
– 10-Minute Conversations: In addition to group sessions, you get 20 private 10-minute conversation sessions with your instructor. These one-on-one sessions are crucial for building confidence and fluency.
– Flexible Scheduling: You can choose to have these sessions twice a week for 10 minutes each or once a week for 20 minutes, depending on your schedule and preference.
– Frequent Practice: Short, frequent sessions trick your brain into believing you’re using the language more often, accelerating your learning process.
On completion of the program, you will be able to conjugate verbs in the present, future, present continuous, and past tense. By completing our Beginner and Intermediate Level 1 Arabic conversation classes, you will learn more than 200 verbs. You will be able to talk about family, feelings & needs, jobs, give directions and read the time using the Levantine dialect. You will be able to conjugate verbs in the present, future, present continuous, and past tenses as well as Imperatives.

I am Mirna, a devoted educator with a Master’s degree. I have a background as a content manager and creator, where I played a crucial role in developing digital educational content and customized books for underprivileged children.
My diverse experience spans teaching Levantine Arabic and various subjects for both kids and adults. Beyond the traditional classroom setting, I actively engaged in organizing school activities and supporting the education of Syrian refugee students.
Additionally, I’ve volunteered my time to coordinate meetings, trips, and camps for children and youth groups. As a committed individual, my aim is to make meaningful contributions to the field of education and community development.
