Together, they mix the dough, prepare the fillings, and shape the cookies. Mimi learns how to use the molds and fills them with pistachios, dates, and walnuts. The kitchen is filled with the yummy smell of ma’amoul baking, and when it’s ready, Mimi tastes one and says, “This is the best ma’amoul ever!”
