My junior chefs decided to learn how to bake a delicious Swiss Role. We spoke about the importance of giving, sharing, and loving, so we are very proud to donate the money we collected from this event.
My junior chefs decided to gather today because we had one aim, we wanted to bake to donate!
Our kiddos enjoyed a theme camp event about the Middle Eastern Culture. We baked a dough from scratch to bake a delicious Mana2eash Za3tar (Thyme) and Jibne (cheese).
We then prepared a delicious dessert Riz B 7alib (Rice Pudding) YUMMY!!!!
Our students created a beautiful ‘Arabic days of the week board”. They chose 7 Arabic words to hang on their beautiful board!
We then held hands for ‘Let’s Dabke’ The Words’, they learnt the basic steps of the Dabke Dance while using the Arabic words they picked.
What a fun way to memorize!!!
Our kids learnt how to prepare a famous Palestinian dish ‘msakhan’ and a Lebanese dish ‘Wara’a Einab’ or stuffed vine leaves. We then baked a delicious banana bread and learnt the ingredients in Arabic. We danced, enjoyed, and learnt many words in Arabic. Stay tuned for our next event.
