Nasma of NY has been running successful kids’ classes for over 10 years. Together, we’ve worked incredibly hard to develop a comprehensive curriculum, create engaging books, and nurture a love for Arabic language and culture in children. After years of offering in-person cultural classes for kids in Chelsea, we had to transition to remote learning due to COVID. While that shift was necessary, I deeply miss the energy and connection of in-person classes.
Now, I’m determined to bring our kids back together—not just for language learning, but to create a community where they feel proud of their identity, roots, and heritage.
We often hear parents say, “My kids don’t speak Arabic” or “They refuse to learn it.” We are here to tell you that teaching Arabic to our children requires patience, dedication, and a collective commitment. Together, we can inspire our kids to not just learn the language, but to love it—and in doing so, instill pride in their culture.

Our in-person Levantine Arabic classes for kids in Manhattan, Astoria, and Brooklyn are more than just language lessons — they’re spaces where children feel seen, celebrated, and proud of who they are. From group classes to our joyful Mama & Me Arabic sessions, we bring families together through culture, play, and conversation.
We’ve seen firsthand how these Arabic classes help children build confidence in their identity, connect with their roots, and feel a deep sense of belonging — especially in a city as diverse as New York. Whether it’s singing in Arabic, cooking with their teacher, or saying “habibi” with joy, our students are growing up proud to be Arab.
